Larry D. Engle, age 72, of Fairmount, IN, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN.
He was the son of the late Morris Engle and and surviving mother Lucille (Jones) Engle, Fairmount. He was born in Anderson, IN on February 27, 1940. Larry graduated from Fairmount High School in 1958. He married his 5th grade sweetheart, Sandra S. Skinner on March 1, 1959 at the Fairmount Friends Church. Sandra survives in Fairmount. Larry retired from Foster Forbes after 37 years as a supervisor. Larry was a member of the H.O.G.S. Marion Chapter and enjoyed the Tuesday morning breakfast bunch. He also enjoyed early morning bird watching in his back yard, family fishing trips, watching his children and grandchildren play sports, going to the casino, IU basketball and the Colts.
