County name change,Ontario Co is now Wayne Co. John Ford is the son of John Ford Packard Sr. and Amity Bailey. He was united in marriage to Chloe Maria Lapham on 3 Mar 1825,she being the daughter of Ira Lapham and Mary Polly Beal. These are two of the oldest families of Macedon area. They are the parents of nine children:

He was a Hardware Merchant by profession.
