Notes from Osman:
Rhode Shanahan, a former resident of the Town of Liberty, died at his home on a farm in Morris Bluffs, Nebraska last week Monday and the funeral was held Friday at that place. He was married to Margaret Peppard, a former Meeme girl and a Manitowoc county school teacher. She was a sister of Mrs. Anthony J. Clark and John Peppard of Manitowoc. Mrs. Shanahan preceded her husband in death several years ago. A family of grown up children survive him.
