Born In Hector, Schuyler county, on Feb. 13, 1885, Mr. Erway was the son of Cradit and Alletts Mathews Erway, and had lived ix the Himrod vicinity for about 20 years. He was a member of the Burdett Methodist church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Florence Newkirk Erway; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Smith of Himrod and Mrs. Adelbert Beard of Reading Center; five and two great grandchildren.
