PORTAGE, Wis. — Funeral services for George LaVigne, 57, Lewiston, will be held Wednesday at 2 at the Port funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Burton officiating. Burial will be in a Portage cemetery.
Mr. LaVigne died Sunday at his home after suffering a heart attack. He was a farmer in this area and was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife; two brothers, Frank, Wisconsin Dells, and Mose, Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Seeley, Portage; Mrs. Charles McQuire, New Rockford, N.D., and Mrs. Lose Richardson, Tacoma, Wash.
