EMILY LAFAVE

Mrs. Charles LaFave, 80, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, City Manager and Mrs. John Hoffman of Two Rivers, this morning.

Mrs. LaFave, nee Emily Heroux, was born at Fall River, Massachusetts on August 18, 1864 and when a young girl moved to Oconto with her parents. She also resided at Niagara for some years before going to International Fall, Minn., where she lived for 11 years before coming to Two Rivers in 1920. She was married to Charles La Fave in 1882. He died in 1930, and since that time Mrs. LaFave had been making her home with her children, living with the Hoffmans for the past year.
Mrs. LaFave was a member of the Altar Society of St. Mark's Catholic church at Two Rivers.

Survivors are six sons, Charles and Marshall of National City, California, Oscar of International Falls, Minn., Edward and Arthur of Two Rivers and Louis of Green Bay; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Savard and Mrs. Richard Pauliss of Green Bay and Mrs. Clarence Williquette and Mrs. John Hoffman of Two Rivers; three brothers, Joseph and Edward Heroux of Oconto and Frank Heroux of Menasha. Thirty-two grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be held Friday morning at 8:30 from the Klein and Stangel Inc. funeral home and at 9 o'clock from St. Luke's Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Dean C.V. Hugo will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and until time of the services. The rosary will be recited there Thursday evening at 7:45.
