Mrs. Stanley Ertman, 80, of 1110-26th St., Two Rivers, died early Friday morning
at Manitowoc County Hospital. She had been ill nine months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev.
Joseph Gabryszek officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Ertman, nee Mary Becker, was born May 15, 1883, at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Joseph and Anna Kozak Becker. She was married Nov. 10, 1903, at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc, to Anton Theiss, after which the couple moved to Two
Rivers to reside. Mr. Theiss died Dec. 4, 1942, and she was married Oct. 16,
1948, at Sacred Heart Church, Two Rivers, to Stanley Ertman. She was a member
of the Rosary Society of the parish.
Surviving besides the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Emily Wargin, of Two
Rivers, Mrs. Theresa Gaertner, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Walter Ahrens, of Manitowoc;
two sons, Frank and John Theiss, of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Anna Korlesky of
Manitowoc, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
