Erna S. (Buzinski) Thut, 88, 550 Vane St., Mosinee, died peacefully Sunday, July 29, 2012.

She was born Dec. 25, 1923, in Callon, the daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Falkowski) Nievenski. She married John Buzinski on June 14, 1947, in Wausau. He died Dec. 22, 1977. She then married RobertThut on March 3, 1984. He died March 6, 1999.

Erna will be mostly remembered from operating Buzz's Restaurant with her husband John, and her many acts of kindness. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty (Jeff) Kitzerow, Stevens Point, and Sally (Randall) Haupt, Mosinee; three grandchildren, Jacob and Tyler Kitzerow, and Gregg Cihlar; three stepchildren, Bob (Pat) Thut, Green Bay, Jane Ritacco, Sedalia, Missouri, and Steve (Jodi) Thut, Wausau; and six step grandchildren, Ryan, Andy and Allison Thut, Jordon and Zach Thut, and Brady Ritacco. She was preceded in death by a step grandson, Bryan Ritacco, two brothers and seven sisters.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau.
