US Congressman. Elected to represent Colorado's 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1963 to 1965, and 1967 to 1975. Brotzman also served as a Member of the Colorado State House of Representatives from 1950 to 1952, Member of the Colorado State Senate from 1952 to 1956, Candidate for Governor of Colorado in 1956, and United States District Attorney for Colorado from 1959 to 1961. He also served in the United States Army during World War II.
