John Karbowski, 28, former Two Rivers resident, who had been employed as a farm hand on route 1, DePere, in recent years, died suddenly Saturday night. He was taken ill while milking the farm's herd in late afternoon and died six hours later in a Green Bay hospital.
An autopsy performed on the body at Two Rivers Sunday failed to disclose the cause of death.
Police in Two Rivers reported seeing Karbowski in that city Thursday. He was born in Green Bay in 1921 and when a boy located in Two Rivers. He left there several years ago to work on farms in Brown county. Only survivor is his mother, Mrs. Edmund Sobiech of Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart church, Two Rivers, with burial in Holy Cross cemetery.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home, Two Rivers, where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight.
