Juanita Margaret Dalton, 60, of Statesville, NC, died at her residence March 23 following a lengthy illness. The Bryceville native was daughter of the late James E. and Gracie Fouraker Carroll and had attended school in Bryceville, graduating from Nassau County High School. She was employed as a back maker with Intercraft Industries of Statesville.
Survivors include her husband, Sterling; four sons, Eugene (Gene) Blount of MacClenny, James Blount of Stoney Point, NC, Charles Blount of Jacksonville, and Jerry Blount of s; two daughters, Margaret Dunn and Norma Weeks of Statesville; four brothers, Virgil Carroll and Roy Carroll, both of Callahan, Lamar Carroll of Boca Raton and Cecil Pringle of Jacksonville; two sisters, Francis Cowart of Bryceville and Jeannette Pringle of Callahan; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 26 at 11am in Congregational Methodist Church of Macclenny with Pastor Ollie Mae White officiating. Interment was in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Nassau County. Fraser Funeral Home, Macclenny, was in charge of arrangements.
