Edna Luebke Detjen, age 102, of 1041 West Crescent Drive, Manitowoc, died peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at her residence.

Edna was born on August 1, 1909, in the town of Newton, daughter of the late Fred and Helena (Schuett) Luebke. She married Roland Detjen in 1935 in Manitowoc, He preceded her in death on February 4, 1977.

Survivors include three children: one son: Henry R. Detjen, Green Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law: Ethel and Robert F. Reinhard Sr., Port Lavaca, TX; Alice and Ronald E. Miller, Portage, IN: nine grandchildren: Robert F. (Sandra) Reinhard, McKinney, TX; Jon M. (Robin) Reinhard, Corpus Christi, TX; Mark A. (Becky) Reinhard, Port Lavaca, TX; Jeffrey C. (Terri) Reinhard, Prosper, TX; Scott A. (Teresa) Miller, Noblesville, IN; Kathryn (Christopher) Graves, Cincinnati, OH; David W. (Kathleen) Miller, Silver Spring, MD; Michael R. Detjen, Green Bay; Christopher Detjen, Green Bay; fourteen great grandchildren: one brother Norman Luebke, Two Rivers; one sister: Helen Hubbard, Manitowoc. Other relatives and friends also survive. Edna was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Roland Detjen; three brothers: Reinhold Luebke, Fred Luebke, and Raymond Luebke; four sisters: Leona Kerscher, Lorna Krejcie, Carol Gospadorek, and Ruth Salimena.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Benjamin Schaefer will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
