IOTA - Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2002 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Hilda Ritter Miller Simar, 86, who died Saturday, March 30 at Crowley Guest House. Fr. David Broussard will officiate for the services. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Iota. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of services. A rosary will be recited today at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Simar was preceded in death by her parents Butler Anthony and Ella LeJeune Ritter, her first husband, George Leo Miller, her second husband, Jonathan T. Miller, one daughter, Judith Ann Miller and one son, Alvin Gene Miller.
