Mr. Swanick was employed as a mechanic at the Raritan Copper Works, Perth Amboy and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church. A native of Perth Amboy, he had made his home in Fords for 52 years.
Surviving are his widow, Judith (Smolinski); a daughter, Mrs. Eleanore Fazekas, Edison; a son, Edward, Fords; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Benish, Edison; four brothers, Joseph and Frank, Fords; Theodore, Maplewood and Michael, Perth Amboy.
