Lendon Vance Ivy 81, of Bismarck went to heaven on August 2, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at his son's home. He was born on March 10, 1931 in Antioch Arkansas to Tom Ivy and Julitte Adcock Ivy.
His is predeceased by one son Tommy Ivy and his parents. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Hill Church.
Mr. Ivy is survived by his son Forrest W. Ivy of Conway, five daughters, Brenda (Chuck) Hopkins of Temperance Michigan, Vickie (Jack) Victor of Grassvalley, California, Tara (Jack) Smoot of Quitman, Tina Ivy of Mt. Vernon and Julie Kneuven of North Little Rock, Also one sister Verda Black of Birmingham Alabama, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason David Smoot, Jason M. Waterall, Nathan Waterall, Caleb Waterall, Jack Earnest Smoot and Neil Barton.
Services for Mr. Ivy will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Free Hill Church at 3:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 2:00PM at the church. Burial will be at Free Hill Cemetery with Brother Van officiating.
