Mrs. Oscar Wilke Dies On Thursday At Home In Hika

Cleveland -- Mrs. Oscar Wilke, 69, nee Frieda Bull, passed away on Thursday evening at her home in Hika after a short illness.

She was born in Town Centerville on April 24, 1875, the daughter of John and Sophia Bull. She was united in marriage with Oscar Wilke on July 2, 1898. The couple resided on a farm north of Hika until 1939 when they moved into that village.

Among the survivors are her husband, two daughters and three sons, they are: Mrs. Hilbert (Ella) Zill, Newton; Mrs. Herman (Hertha) Gumm, Sheboygan; John and Theordore, Sheboygan and Richard of Hika. Two sisters, Mrs. Lena Voight and Mrs. Anna Stahl of Sheboygan survive with 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Stoltenburg Funeral chapels in Cleveland and at 2 o'clock at the St. John and St. Peter Lutheran church with the Rev. M.A. Braun officiating. Burial will be made in the St. John's cemetery at Centerville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from Saturday noon until the time of services. The casket will not be opened in the church.
