Albert Schaetzer

Albert Schaefer, 72, formerly of Cleveland, died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital early today after a long illness. He had been a resident of the Heritage Nursing Home for several months.

A decorating and painting constructor at Cleveland, he was born Aug. 22, 1897, in Cleveland, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schaetzer.

He was not married.

Mr. Schaetzer served in the armed forces during both World War I and World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 88 and the Veteran of World War I Barracks No. 2091.

Only immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Joseph Burkard, Cleveland.

In addition to his parents, six sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Military funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland. Burial will be in St. Johannes Cemetery, Cleveland.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday by the World War I Barracks.
