Renay Irvin Letson, 66, died in his Whitcomb Avenue home, April 24, 1996. He was born June 3, 1929, in Moulton, AL. He was employed by the Ross Gear Divison of TRW for 28 years, retiring in 1980. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1154 and American Legion Post 11. Surviving with his wife Inos Hale Letson, are four daughters, Wanda (Mrs. Gary) Kenworthy of Dalton, GA; Debra (Mrs. Harley) Kennedy-Seabolt, Kathy (Mrs. Ron) Freeman and Tracy (Mrs. Davis) Tarr, all of Lafayette; three sisters, Christine (Mrs. Joe) Terry, Gladys (Mrs. Jack) Hall, both of Lafayette, and Mable (Mrs. Marshall) Terry of Alabama; a brother, Willie Letson of Lafayette; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Funeral service at First Southern Baptist Church, April 27, 1996, officiated by his nephews, Pastors Ross Terry and Edmund "Butch" Terry. Internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
