MISSOULA - Jennifer L. Adamson, 29, of Missoula, died at home in Missoula on Saturday, May 20.
She was born June 27, 1970, in New York City to Adeena VanWagoner and Kit Culkin. In 1988 she graduated from Sentinel High School and then attended Seattle Central Community College.
Jennifer works for MDSC at the South Hills Group Home as a supervisor and works with developmentally disabled adults.
Jen is a bright spirit with a sense of humor and an acute empathy with all living beings. She has an easy-going charm and a spontaneous nature. She is well-loved by many wonderful friends.
Survivors include her mother Adeena VanWagoner; grandparents Rene and Larry Zimmerman of Missoula; uncle Paul Zimmerman of Salt Lake City; aunts Kate Zimmerman of San Francisco, Eileen Nicol of Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Janet Zimmerman of Albany, Calif.; and many loving friends and relatives.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory. A reception will follow in the funeral home's community room.
The family suggests memorials to Turning Point, 500 N. Higgins Ave., Missoula 59802, or the drug treatment center of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory.
