John Schaetzer, 72 years old resident of Hika, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday evening.
He was born in Sheboygan on October 23, 1877, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schaetzer.
The survivors include two brothers, William of Catawba, Wis., and Albert of Hika, four sisters, Mrs. Helen Linquist of Hartford, Mich., Mrs. Mary Goebel of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph Dittes of Sheboygan Falls and Mrs. Joseph Burkard of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Stoltenberg Funeral chapel and at 9:30 o'clock at St. George's church in Hika. The Rev. Joseph Schaefer will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday noon to the time of services Wednesday.
