FATHER OF LARGE FAMILY DIED HERE LAST NIGHT
John Troutt, 46 years old, expired at his home at 207 Second street, late Wednesday night after an illness of five days suffering from a severe attack of pneumonia. He contracted a severe cold last week and immediately became seriously ill.
The funeral will be held from the family residence at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
The Troutt family removed here last September, coming from Highland, were they had resided for many years. Mr. Troutt was employed at the plant of the United States Radiator Corporation.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Troutt and eleven children. They are John, Aaron, Wilbur and Elmer of Edwardsville; and Roy, a sailor on the U.S. battleship South Carolina, and Mrs. Silva Noe, Mrs. and Emogene, of Edwardsville.
