La Crosse -- Scot Eban Basgall, seven, died Saturday in La Crosse, the victim of an accidental drowning.
He was born Sept. 8, 1969 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was a lifetime resident. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church at LaCrosse.
Scott is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Basgall, La Crosse, and a sister, Kerri. He also is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Herrman, La Crosse, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Basgall, La Crosse. His great-grandparents, Nick Herrman and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Urban, all of LaCrosse, and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Urban of Colorado Springs.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 Monday night at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse. Burial will be in the La Crosse Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home fro m9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday.
