Mary Anne S. (Aloi) Carbone, 74, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday at Loretto after a long illness. She was born in Syracuse and was employed with Inland Supply Company, Nationwide Insurance and Royal Insurance. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Flora Aloi and her brother, Anthony T. Aloi. Mary Anne is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Carbone; son, John A. (Karen) Thomas; three granddaughters, Holly, Amy and Kelly; one great-grandson, Jonathan Christopher; a sister, Thomasina (Thomas) Smith; sister-in-law, Ruby (Jack) Koslowski; several nieces and nephews, Peter T. (Carie) Smith, Rebecca A. (Steven) Babcock, Deborah (Darryl) Adsit and Patricia (Randy) Filippi, along with several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7 a.m. in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 8 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
