Franklin M. Hill, 98, of Titusville, passed from this life on August 5, 2012. He was born May 22, 1914, to Warren and Bertha Hill in Lincoln County, WV.

Mr. Hill came to Titusville in the early 1950s with his partner and friend Mr. Vaughn Blankenship. The two worked together establishing a successful number of businesses in the central Florida area over the next three decades.

Mr. Hill was a superintendent of the Amherst Coal Company in West Virginia before moving to Titusville. His career in Titusville included the founding of the Brevard National Bank where he served as chairman of the board. He also served on the board of the Brevard County Park and Recreation Commission. Over the years, he was a consultant for numerous business owners and was also a trusted property appraiser. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Titusville. An avid fisherman, he was always happiest when he had a fishing pole in his hands.
