James A "Pete" Felty 83 died Tuesday Dec 16 1997 in his Wichita Falls home. Services will be at 10 am today at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Larry Suttle pastor of 10th and Broad Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, Texas.
Mr. Felty was born August 30, 1914, in Harrold Texas. He was a retired cowboy and a World War II veteran serving in the Army.
Survivors include his wife Eva C of Wichita Falls; two stepdaughters, Juanita Richey of Teague Texas and Dorothy Turner of Orlando Florida; a stepson Charles Rogers of Wichita Falls; three sisters Lura "Sandy" Rutledge of Burkburnett, Mary Jo Mathews of Dean, Texas and Mattie Rosson of Muenster, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
