Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church in Dumas with her nephews, the Rev. Michael Mowery and the Rev. Ken Mowery, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery in Dumas by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Lois Mills was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, to Fred Mowery and Eleanor Parks Mowery. She had worked as a realtor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clayton Mills in 1996 and a grandson, Greg Mills in 1988
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Mills of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Jayne Catto of Parker, Colo.; four grandchildren, Susan Mills Smith of Dumas, Cyndi Mills David of Amarillo and Michelle Catto and Jon Catto, both of Parker; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Pat Mowery of Dumas and W.C. Mowery of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Ruby Lee Simer of Stephenville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church in Dumas, 401 Binkley, Dumas, TX 79029 or to the Greg and Denise Mills Scholarship Fund, 110 E. Sixth, Dumas, TX 79029.
Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
