Robert Ahrens, 48, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday evening, January 14, at Manitowoc County Health Care Center. Private family services will be Saturday afternoon at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. James L. Thomson will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Ahrens was born Sept. 12, 1933, at Manitowoc, son of Arthur J. Ahrens and the late Mae Thielen Ahrens. He resided in the Manitowoc area all his life.
Survivors include his father, Arthur J. of Manitowoc, a brother, Alan Ahrens of Two Rivers and a sister, Charlotte Ahrens of Cedar Grove. His mother and a stepsister, Beverly, preceded him in death.
There will be no Friday evening visitation.
