- Mr S. M. Atkins well known here as an auctioneer and saddler, died at his home
in Keyser on April 6, 1904, aged 61 years and 6 months. He leaves a wife and
eight children as follows: Mrs W. W. Davis and Mrs R. W. Davis of Cumberland;
Mrs Fuller Barnard and Mrs John Barnard of Westernport; and Messrs Waverly,
Harry, Lloyd and Dorsey Atkins all residing Keyser, but Dorsey who is salesman
in the clothing store of Messrs S. G. Dixon & Son here. The deceased was born in
Rappahanock county, Va.
