Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers John, Frank, Ray, and Don.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; step children Katherine Schrautemyer, Brian (Cheri) Macaulay, and Daniel (Christie) Macaulay; grandchildren Michelle McErwen, Micah Macaulay, and Jace Macaulay; great grandchild Ben McEwen; sisters Josie Bauernfeind, Delores Drehmel, Mary Gray and Theresa Garlie; along with many special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM (visitation 1-2 PM) at Yellow Lake Lutheran Church in Danbury with Pastor Myron Carlson officiating. Music will be provided by Pastor Roger Kampstra and Annette Arnold. An interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster.
