Mrs. Baumgartel, one of the most amiable women Vineland ever knew, died today at the age of 89 years. For years she lived in the big house on Landis Avenue beyond Valley and of late with her daughter, Mrs. Smith. She leaves another daughter, Mrs. Shelley. Mrs. Baumgartel was born in England but lived here over thirty-five years. She was a very charitable lady and devoted much of her time to the welfare of others. No one in her neighborhood ever wanted for the necessities of life if she knew it. Many friends will mourn her loss.
