Bonny Anna Edwards' was 1st w/o John Alex (or Elliex) Mathews who was b. Jan 1869, d. 11 Apr 1921 Jefferson Co, KY. John Alex (or Elliex) Matthews' dc states he was buried at Rowletts, Hart Co, KY. Rowletts is a short distance north of Horse Cave. The Leach Cemetery is very small and has unmarked headstones and some of his close family are buried in the Leach Cemetery and John Alex Matthews could be buried in the Harper Cemetery as he has some family members are buried there. So, he is perhaps buried either in the Harper Cemetery or the Leach Cemetery as the two cemeteries are close together and he had family buried in both cemeteries. Any way he does not have a headstone in either cemetery and we do not know which cemetery he is buried. I'm inclined to believe he is buried in the Leach Cemetery while others feel he is buried in the Harper Cemetery. For sure we do not definitely know which cemetery he is buried.
