Marvin A. Hasche, 59, of Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 1234 N. 18th St. Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glen Unke will officiate with burial in St. Lukes Lutheran Church Cemetery, Township of Chilton and Calumet County.

Mr. Hasche was born March 9, 1918, in the Township of Chilton and Calumet County, son of the late Martin Hasche and Emelia Bergelin Hasche Stetson. He grew up in the Township of Gibson and attended local schools there. He graduated from Denmark High School in 1935. Mr. Hasche moved to Manitowoc in 1940 and worked at various jobs as a sheet metal worker. He also worked for many years as a jailer. He retired from Burger Boat Co., Inc. Manitowoc in 1975. Mr. Hasche served overseas during World War II with the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and served on the church council. He also taught Sunday school for many years.

Survivors include two brothers, Wilbert Hasche of Manitowoc and Arlin Stetson of Menchalville; three nephews, Ronald Hasche of Manitowoc and Michael and Bruce Stetson of Menchalville; two nieces, Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Kasten of the Township of Liberty and Mrs. James (Joan) Koldoff of Manitowoc, and other relatives.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the chruch Monday from noon until the time of services. Memorial funds have been established at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, Lutheran High School or the donor's choice.
