MARK L. SULLIVAN IS DEAD.
Mark L. Sullivan, brother of Roger C. Sullivan, and brother-in-law of Robert M. Sweitzer and Peter O'Brien, died late Tuesday night after a protracted illness.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Belvidere, Ill., on Dec. 19, 1867. After graduating from the Belvidere High school, he became a student at Northwestern university. Upon completion of the course he joined the staff of the Chicago Evening Post at the time James W. Scott was its publisher. For four years Mr. Sullivan was identified with that newspaper.
Later he was appointed principal of the Hayes Evening school. He remained in the teaching profession for eight years and then, in conjunction with Charles Sawyer, he formed the Sawyer Biscuit company, of which for a long time he was president and secretary. He was also at one time manager of the Cosmopolitan Electric company. He married Miss Margaret Kevil eight years ago.
The funeral will be held from Roger C. Sullivan's residence, 2950 Washington boulevard, tomorrow morning at 10:45 o'clock. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows church, and burial will be at Mount Carmel.
