Roger C. Sullivan High School is located at 6631 North Bosworth Avenue. It is named after Roger C. Sullivan, a prominent player in both Illinois and national politics during the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries.
Sullivan led Illinois' Democratic Party for many years, and he played a major role in the nomination of President Woodrow Wilson to the Party's ticket in 1912. Sullivan was also a prominent businessman, founding both the Ogden Gas Company and Sawyer Biscuit Company.
