Martha "Mattie" (Vore) Loucks was born in 1858 in Shade Township, Sommerset Pensylavina. She is the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Vore and Eliza (Beaver) Vore. Martha married James Gilbert Loucks in about 1880. They had one child a daughter Martie Loucks born Oct. 1882 in Clay Township, Grundy Co. Iowa. From the Iowa cemetery records Martha (Mattie) Loucks is buried in the Albion Cemetery.
