Roger was born January 18, 1948 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Harold and Mary Kubiak Allen.
He was married to Elaine Brook February 10, 1971. She survives of the home.
Roger was currently working at Hammersmith Mfg in Horton, KS and had worked there for close to 13 years. Roger always had a smile. He loved to fish and hunt.
He is also survived by four sons, Edward (Vicki) Brook of Tampa, FL, Roger Allen Jr., Shaun Allen and Clifford Allen, a daughter Dawn (James) Monks, a brother David (Debbie) Allen all of Horton, KS, a sister Sharon (Steve) Quick of Savannah, MO, and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services are planned for 9:30a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton. Father Earl Dekat of St. Leo's Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. that evening.
