BENJAMIN F. FORD of Hagerstown died Saturday afternoon at 3:00 near Baltimore of complications following an illness of ten years, aged 68.
The son of the late Henry and Jeanette Zittle Ford, he was born near Middletown.
He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by three sons, Cyril B. Ford, Sharpsburg, Alvey F. Ford, Blue Ridge Summit, and Wheeler C. Ford, serving in the U.S. Navy; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Koogle of Boonsboro; a brother, Jacob Ford of Beaver Creek; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the home of his son Cyril in Sharpsburg Tuesday afternoon at 3:00. The Rev. Donald P. Stonesifer will officiate. Interment will be in Boonsboro Cemetery,
