Henry ‘Tex' Coulter
SHELL POINT VILLAGE, Fla. — Henry Boyce "Tex" Coulter, 85, of Shell Point Village went to be with the Lord on Oct. 22, 2003. Formerly of Ohio, he had been a resident of Florida since 1993 and at Shell Point Village since 2000.

Tex was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy in the European Theater. He was past master and a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Order of Eastern Star. Tex owned and operated Kentucky Fried Chicken stores in both Norwalk and Sandusky, Ohio, and was past president of the Great Lakes KFC Franchise Association.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Phillips) Coulter of Fort Myers, formerly of Fredericktown; and sons, Henry Lawrence and Terrence Edward.

Memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
