42-year-old James Keith Brown and his step-son, Tristan were both struck by lightning as they were trying to get back to their boat from Shell Island in Pensacola, FL. The family of four was walking on the beach on the last day of their vacation when a storm hit the island. James was carrying Tristan on his back due to the fact that Tristan had recently injured his ankle. He Worked for EWTN, Storage Tech, Sun Microsystems, Brassfield and Gorrie and NCR. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, David and Francie Brasher. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Tammy K. Brown; step-daughter, Kalynn Nicole Barger, and step-son Tristan Barger; host of other family members and friends.
