Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. Gerhart Ehlert, pastor of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac, officiating. Burial will be in Pioneers' Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Alvin Myers was born Aug. 18, 1899, at Pecatonica, Ill., son of the late John and Caroline Last Myers. When he was 11 years old the family brought him to a farm in the Town of Mishicot. Since the early 1920's until 1939 he lived at Two Rivers. After 14 years at Manitowoc the family moved to Fond du Lac where Mr. Myers was a draftsman at Damrow
Bros. Co. until his retirement in January. Mr. Myers was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army. He was
also a member of the Fond du Lac American Legion post. Besides his wife, the former Ada Kahrs, whom he married at Two Rivers July 19, 1922, he leaves six daughters, four sons ; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Arnemann, of Two Rivers, and 22
grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bidlingmayer Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, and after 2 p.m. Thursday at Klein and Stangle Inc., Funeral Home.
