Mrs. Myers, nee Ada C. Kahrs, was born March 17, 1901, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Albert and Hattie Griep Kahrs. She was married to Alvin H. Myers July 19, 1922, at Two Rivers. He preceded her in death in 1965.
Survivors include four sons, James A. Myers of Two Rivers, John A. Myers of Memphis, Tenn., Jay A. Myers of Utopia, Texas and Jan A. "Bucky" Myers of Fond du Lac; six daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Jeanne) Zich of Manitowoc, Mrs. Russell (Janis) Minaker of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Joe (June) Pipkin, Mrs. Jacqueline Nett, Mrs. LeRoy (Judith) Walters and Jamie Myers of Fond du Lac; a brother, Roy Kahrs of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Beth of Columbus, Ohio, 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Three brothers, two sisters, a son and a great grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, 3 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Wednesday afternoon. The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to Brooke Industries, Association of Retarded Children, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
