Wendy Lynn Carr, 42, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Fort Smith.
She was a homemaker, a Christian and a member of Jethro Pentecostal Church at Ozark. She was born April 29, 1970 in Redding, California to Allen Aiken and Penny Prescott.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene Gotta, and her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Aiken.
Funeral services will be 8:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark, with Reverend Lamar Joy officiating, and burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery of Ozark.
She is survived by two sons, Luke and Ben Carr; two daughters, Jackie and Becca Carr, all of Ozark; her father, Allen Aiken of California; her mother, Penny Prescott of California; maternal grandmother, Jean Gotta Craig of California; brothers and sisters: Duane Balderston, Michel Azulay, Eric Allison, Zachary Allison, Chris Benson, Bradly Aiken, Andrew Aiken, Allison Aiken, Alexas Aiken, Todd Aiken and Aiden Aiken, all of California; her aunt, Denise Gotta, of California; three uncles, Allen Gotta of California, Tony Aiken of Arkansas, and Doug Aiken of Colorado.
The family will visit with friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2012, at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial, in Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris and John Carr, Josh Isaacs, Jack Flarity, David Bowles, and Duane Balderston; honorary pallbearers are Anthony Bowen, John and John Mark Bailey, Brad, Todd and Andrew Aiken; Chris Benson, and Eric and Zachary Allison.
