Edward "Ed" C. Brown, 87, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane C. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, should you wish to remember Ed, please make donations to a charity of choice.

Edward was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Jeffersonville, Ind., to the late Theodore and Helen Brown. Edward was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who retired as a lieutenant colonel. He proudly served his country in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Ed also enjoyed his membership in the QB. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and he will be missed enormously by his family, neighbors and friends.

Survivors: Wife, Donna; two children; three stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
