Karen was the third child born to Don and Michelle (Smith) Pardoe. She is survived by an older brother Eric, an older sister Emily, and a younger sister Anna. She was the granddaughter of the late Rev. Jerry L. Smith and Mrs. Anne Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC. Karen is buried just to the right of the flag pole, next to her maternal grandfather Jerry. She is deeply missed.
