Mr. Shore, former resident of Chillicothe, was salesmanager of the Shapleigh Hardware Company for twenty-five years, and for many years before was employed by the Simmons Hardware Company. He was a member of the St. John's Methodist Church and the Masonic Order in St. Louis.
Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Elva Spencer Shore, and three children, Mrs. Ellis Brownlee of Brookfield; Lt. Co. B. R. Shore, Camp Myles Standish, Taunton, Mass., and T. Spencer Shore, New York City.
