CARL STANSBERRY
DIES IN OTTUMWA

Carl E. Stansberry, 59, well known resident of this community, passed away in Ottumwa, Wednesday at 11:45 a. m. Mr. Stansberry's illness was of short duration. He was taken suddenly ill, Tuesday. Death resulted from complications arising; due to a kidney infection.
He was a son of Grant and Rebecca Stansberry, and was born at Dean, January 14, 1884. He has been a resident of Iowa all his life and this immediate community until about six months ago when he went to Ottumwa and was employed by the Ottumwa Iron Works.
He is survived by his wife, five sons, Gerald, who is in the Army air corp and stationed at Fresno, Calif.; Lloyd, of Centerville; Eugene and Speery, of Ottumwa, and Robert, of Moulton. Also, two daughters, Mrs. Arzella Siebert, of Moulton, and Mary, at home. Other surviving relatives are three brothers, Charles and William, of Moulton, and Donald, of Lincoln, Nebr.; three (sic) sisters, Mrs. Grace Morrow, of Laclede, Mo., and Mrs. Ella Davis, of Milan, Mo.
One son, Cleo, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held in the Moulton Methodist church, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p. m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. A. Harp. Burial will be at Hardin cemetery.
