Dr. Harold A. Bloom died on April 25, 1953, in his home 5355 St. Charles, New Orleans.
Dr. Bloom was a graduate of Tulane University medical school in 1918 and did post graduate work at Havard university medical school.
He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical fraternity and of the Nu Sigma Nu medical fraternity. He was prseident of the Alumni Association of the Beta Iota chapter of Nu Sigma Nu at Tulane.
Dr. Bloom was a member of the staff of Touro infirmary and a member of the Orleans Parish Medical Society, the Southern Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
He was survived by two nephews, Charles J. Bloom and Albert R. Bloom, and a niece, Mrs. Herbert W. Van Horn, Jr., all of New Orleans.
