Edward King, Long Ill, Dies

Edward J King, 79 years old, 1195 Dykstra road, a lifelong Muskegon area resident and formerly a real estate ahent here for the JJ Fagan Company, died yesterday at the Apple-Wood Convalescent Home after a long illness. Born Sept 17, 1874 in Laketon Township, he was married in 1897 to Agatha Wiesendorfer. He attended Laketon Bethel reformed Church and the Masonic Lodge in Whitehall.

A son, Forrest King, died here in April after a heart attack. He leaves three daughters, Mrs Bessie Peterson of Jackson, and Mrs Frances Robillard and Mrs Ben Goldman, both of the Muskegon area; a son, Lynn, of Dalton Township; three sisters, Mrs Anna Hall North of Muskegon, Mrs Florence Lakman of Whitehall and Mrs Iva Orshal of Laketon Township; a step-daughter, Mrs Harry Moore of Muskegon; and four stepsons, Edwin and Thomas Cowles of Muskegon and Joseph and Robert Cowles, both in Indiana; and eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
