Mrs. Louise Boeckmann, 79, nee Erdmann, former Manitowoc resident, died late
Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.C. Braxmeier, Fond du Lac,
with whom she has made her home for the past 18 years.
Funeral services will be held here Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
Pfeffer funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be
brought here Wednesday noon and will lie in state at the funeral home until
the time of serivces.
Mrs. Boeckmann was born Louise Erdmann in Germany on January 23, 1860. She
came to America in 1880, landing in Philadelphia and coming shortly after, to
Milwaukee, where she lived for a short time before moving to Manitowoc, where
she married Mr. Boeckmann. Mr. Beockmann died 12 years ago.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Braxmeier, and one granddaughter.
