Mrs. May Boeder, 72, of 930 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient eight weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church,
Manitowoc, the Rev. William Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Boeder was born May Adams May 31, 1888, at Castel-on-Tyne, England,
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Adams. They came to Manitowoc when
she was a young girl. She was married to William C. Boeder June 1, 1925, at
Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1955. She was a member of the
Pythian Sisters of Manitowoc.
Survivors include a daughter (Private); a brother, Samuel, of Manitowoc; a
sister, Mrs. Edward Dunning, of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, a niece who
had been living with her, Lila Monka at home and other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 1 p.m. Saturday,
and at the church until the time of service.
